The powerhouse of talent, Beyonce Knowles of Destiny’s Child has never gone wrong for her stunning hair from the moment she arrived with a bang in 1997. L’Oreal felt the same way as her fans did about her tresses.

This flamboyant Virgo has been wowing all with her assortment of eye-catching hairstyles that included giant Afros, big hair twists, waist length golden weaves and center parted winged styles harking back to Farrah Fawcett of the 60s.

Be it straight or Afro curls, Beyonce’s hair has always attracted admiration. At times she opts for the straight, sleek and smooth look. A hot favorite is the tumbling barrel curls that make Beyonce radiate with old Hollywood glamour.

L’Oreal has picked Beyonce as the face of its new Hot Curl. Beyonce Knowles discloses what lies behind her amazing hair.

• Shampoo and condition hair before gently towel drying.
• When damp, take about one and a half inches of hair. Comb smooth and spray with voluminising or hair spray to keep the curls in place and give body to your hair.
• Use a large roller to wrap this section of the hair around it. Velcro rollers are ideally modern enough for this. They stick to the hair doing away with the need for pins.
• Make sure you roll the hair in the intended direction.
• Allow natural drying of your hair if possible, otherwise dry it using a hairdryer.
• After your hair is dry, unravel the rollers, gently combing the curly portion using fingers. For the final touch use another spray to keep the hot curls intact.

Where Beyonce’s hair is concerned, it is sheer splendor. After experimenting with signature cornrows, layering in soft curls enhanced with honey-caramel highlights, and poker-straight washed in warm brown semi-permanent, her most recent look is fabulous blonde locks.
